IKEA, the world's best known store offering beautifully designed home furnishings at reasonable prices, held a ceremony to celebrate the European Union's 50th anniversary at IKEA's Beijing Store. Ambassadors from 15 EU countries distributed cakes to participants. It was the first time that the EU has celebrated its birthday in China. Upstream did the PR for the event.
