Seow Chong brings over ten years of PR experience, in both Singapore and Hong Kong, to Upstream Asia's Singapore office. Previously as Account Manager in Weber Shandwick's technology practice group, she was responsible for strategic counsel and account management for clients such as Oracle, Silicon Graphics (SGI) and Texas Instruments.
Prior to joining Weber Shandwick in Singapore, Seow Chong was based in Hong Kong as senior marketing specialist at Portal Software, a leading developer of customer management and billing software for communications and content providers. At Portal, she was involved in a broad spectrum of marketing communications activities regionally, including the company's Asia Pacific corporate launch across Greater China, Korea, Japan, Australia, Singapore and Malaysia.
Seow Chong's experience also includes client servicing work at GCI Public Relations in Hong Kong and The Hoffman Agency in Singapore as well as in-house marketing communications executive at CyberWay Internet, now known as Starhub Internet.
Seow Chong holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (merit) from the National University of Singapore. In her leisure time, she snow boards, scuba dives and runs after her two young daughters.
